I'm out here studying stones...

I must apologize for my absense. It's the end of the semester and I have so very little time to get everything done for school that I really have no time for blogging. So let me sign off until the first week in May.
See y'all soon!!!

I Am An All Powerful Amazon Warrior

I'm going through a feminist/ folk music phase. My favorite internet radio station, Pandora, has been able to introduce me to some new-to-me artists such as Dar Williams, Tracy Chapman and Patty Griffen. I'm loving the sound of these musicians, it's acoustic with a hint of a band in the background and AMAZING lyrics. These artists discuss everything from personal battles to the unfairness of the labels people put on life. I can hardly decide which c.d. to download from Amazon!
I'm also very excited about my trip to the Opera next Saturday! I'm going to see The Flying Dutchman. It's a love story gone wrong, like so many operas are and I think someone jumps into a fire at the end but its sure to be great!

Quote of the Week:
So the Christians and the Pagans sat together at the table
Finding faith and common ground the best that they were able
And just before the meal was served, hands were held and prayers were said
Sending hope for peace on earth to all their gods and goddesses
- Dar Williams, "Christians and the Pagans"

Song of the Day:
