reading ivanhoe for senior seminar... meh, lots of characters, looooooottttttssss of description, which i don't mind.... really!! but, as with fight scenes in my trashy romance novels, i tend to skim them. i guess they add to the ambiance?

also started a blog for american studies, http://singingtheamericantune.blogger.com, so i'm having fun with that.

can't wait for patrick rothfuss's new book, finally can finish the first one!

Susan Brockman and J. R. Ward also have new books coming out in the next couple of months, excitement is mounting!!!!
